Business and social obligations are not something most For Profit Organisations mention in the same sentence.

Langmobile has been operating for 12 years  and we believe a great deal of our success stems from the fact that we know business and social obligations go hand in hand.

As a business  dedicated to children, it was vital  to us to incorporate a social mission into our business goals.

The marriage of business and social obligations is giving back.

Langmobile defines it’s Social and Community obligations in this mission statement:

To operate our company in a way that actively recognizes the central role that business plays in the community,  by initiating innovative ways to improve the quality of life locally and globally. Making an investment in children, our environment and our world.

Langmobile is an active member of the Saint Lambert community. We support our fellow entrepreneurs and non profit organisations in our community.  We contribute to the quality of life and community services in Saint Lambert.

It is our belief that a strong community creates a strong society. When and where  our children are involved we must be invested!

Business and social obligations, you can not have one with out the other.

Langmobile was created by social entrepreneurs and we are proud of it.

What is a social entrepreneur?

Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s  social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling  social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. The interests of a social entrepreneur can manifest through their companies business mission or through the approach of simply giving back and being dedicated to  coupling Business and social obligations.

Co- founder of Langmobile, Johanne Desjardins  has been on the board of environmental committees addressing issues concerning the quality of life and green space in Montreal Eco-Quartier. She is also an active member of Formons une Famille the adoption Agency she used to Adopt her son form China.

Co- Founder of Langmobile (me!) Nicole Bianco remains active in working on local charitable organisations such as RAPID– an organisation that assists families with children who have special needs, I am on the board for ACCESS, a Riverside school board adult educational program providing further education for young adults. I also sit on the steering committee for the Community Learning Center at the Saint Lambert Elementary School. I also started a project called Kids with HeART where I animate empathy workshops for children and raise funds for local charities. Most recently I have been involved with ARTISTRI SUD, a charitable organization launched in 2009 and based in Montreal, founded by Jennifer Lonergan, whose mission is to teach women entrepreneurs the skills that they need to create sustainable micro-enterprises.

Giving back is our key to success. We have been extremely fortunate in life and believe we all have a social responsibility to get involved by giving back.
