Father’s Day is this Sunday! In honour of all the amazing dads out there, Langmobile has 5  recommendations for fun family events. Help dad celebrate Father’s Day weekend!

Fuel the day!

Slip and slide! Start the weekend off with a yummy brunch. It’s supposed to be a nice sunny weekend, so find a spot with a nice patio and soak up the sun. There are many family-friendly restaurants in the Mile End, like Faberge.  Walk around and see what catches your eye! Or take your breakfast to go and taste test bagels from St. Viateur and Fairmount as part of a picnic.

Cool down at Mont Saint-Sauveur’s parc aquatique. The water park is nestled in the Laurentian Mountains, about a 45 minute drive from Montreal.

Vroom vroom!

Cruisin’ at the Boardwalk  returns to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue this Saturday. The free family-friendly event brings vintage cars, sidewalk sales, and music from the ’50s and ’60s to Ste. Anne Street.

Have a laugh!

The Montreal Fringe Festival wraps up this weekend. Before or after your play, we recommend checking out Mural Festival. Large sections of Saint Laurent are open to pedestrians only.

Escape the city!

Montreal has many beautiful parks and gardens worthy of a stroll. But if dad loves the outdoors, why not plan a family hike? Just remember to be sun smart!

Make a meal!

Plan a special dinner for dad. Pick up some fresh meats and produce from a local market.  Or try out a new BBQ recipe.

Regardless of what you do, try to spend lots of time with dad this weekend!
