Happy Mother’s day!

Happy Mother’s Day! It is a day that I believe we should not only honor our own mothers but perhaps give a moment to reflect on the ageless journey of mothers around the world.

What does it mean to be a mother? It has absolutely nothing to do with genetics and everything to do with love. Families now a days are defined by the ultimate un-definition of family. Mothers day is still about mothers but I like to see mothers day as a spirit of honoring the past present and future.

Being a mother, it can mean many things, and our own definition of it is largely defined by our individual experiences.  To one person, being a mother might simply mean the act of raising children; to another, being a mother might be what defines them.

“It is not uncommon to generalize the concept of “motherhood” and lump everyone who upholds a single criterion – being a mom – into one group.   But, really, motherhood affects us all in one way or another, and that way is as unique as the pattern of curves and ridges on a fingertip.” DoubleXscience

In our preschool, our Saturday classes and Summer camp programs we have the great honor of serving many families and seeing Mothers in action. Protecting, caring for, guiding their children with undeniably the ultimate in good intentions.

A Special Happy Mother’s Day to you!

Today is a day to take a moment and honor the spirit of mothering.
